Behold the bear. Heavy feet and an empty head lead the bear to a quiet place in the middle of the Wood where a large tree stands, and from the top of the tree, hangs the body of a boy.
Thaddeus, you have ruined my day! Christopher Robin hanging from a tree and Pooh finding him. The Hundred Acre Woods will not be the same! However, as a flight of dark fantasy, this is pretty hard to beat. You've touched chords that are very impressive in anals of dark, dark fantasy.
Bless your heart. I will definitely keep on reading. When I was a little boy and heard Winnie the Pooh, I was afraid that I was going to be a Piglet, but I think I grew up to be...well, maybe I'll keep that a secret for a bit. Clue: A Character from another famous book.
Wanting to tell the story of the passion with these characters had been a desire for years, but when I finally decided to do it, I didn't want to tell a Sunday school story. I focused on the diverging paths of Peter and Judas and let that be my guide.
The saving grace, so to speak, is that there's an attempt not to preach. I'm not trying to convert. But yes, that's the story--What if the gospel characters were Pooh characters.
Wow — I am impressed with the simple depth captured from the originals and the impossibility of how you got it here in this story.
That's really kind of you. Thank you!
Damn. Whoever told you that you capture the voice of the original stories needs to get paid, because they are right and this is fantastic
Thank you!

If you keep reading, I think your day will be saved. 😉

CR is Christ. Owl is Judas.
Even worse. I throw in touches of Cormac McCarthy from Blood Meridian

I like it!
I understand if just the basis of the story would be upsetting.
